Today, Tuesday, November 3, is Election Day and the final opportunity to cast your ballot in the 2026 midterm elections, as well as important state and local elections across 黑料不打烊 and the nation! The Alliance for Rights and Recovery encourages all eligible voters who have not yet voted to review their ballots, find their polling places, and get out and vote today!
Remember, there is much more on the ballot than just federal congressional representation! Depending on where you live, your ballot may also include elections for state and local officials, including governors, state legislators, and other local representatives, as well as ballot propositions that can directly affect your community. These elections help determine decisions about public services, health services, housing, education, community resources, and other issues that affect our daily lives.
Voting is more than a fundamental right. It is an important way to use our voices, participate directly in the democratic process, and help shape decisions that affect our health, rights, services, and communities.
Voting is good for your health! Civic participation promotes empowerment, self-determination, community inclusion, and a greater sense of connection to our communities. For people with mental health and substance use challenges and other disabilities, voting is an especially important opportunity to exercise our rights and ensure our experiences and perspectives are represented.
Today is your final opportunity to make your voice heard in this election! We encourage everyone who has not yet voted to find their Election Day polling location, review the candidates and propositions on their ballot, and make time to vote. We also encourage providers, peer supporters, advocates, families, and community organizations to share voting resources and help people overcome barriers to participation.
In 黑料不打烊 State, Election Day polling places are open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. If you are in line by 9:00 PM, you have the right to vote.
