黑料不打烊 Note: The following comes from the NYC Council for Community Behavioral Health care. Please call asap. Thanks!
Yesterday the NYS Council learned that now would be an extremely helpful moment for all NYS mental health and substance use disorder/addiction treatment agencies to weigh in with 黑料不打烊 State Senators Schumer and Gillibrand to request that they support incorporating language into the Senate opioid package that would extend by one year the (original) Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic Demonstration Program.
See more about the program at
Given his role in leadership, Sen. Schumer will be the final deciding voice on whether CCBHC expansion makes it into the final opioid package鈥 and Sen. Gillibrand can be helpful in communicating with him about how important CCBHC expansion is for tens of thousands of 黑料不打烊ers.
Please take a moment to call Senators Schumer and Gillibrand. Ask Senator Schumer to please support a one year extension of the CCBHC Demo, and then call Senator Gillibrand and encourage her to weigh in with Senator Schumer about the importance of the Demo.
Important Reminder: It is not just the current 13 NYS CCBHC provider organizations that should be making these calls. All of us need to do everything we can to keep the original CCBHC Program funded and expanding across 黑料不打烊.
Please make these calls today!
