Medicaid Reform Funding Totals $7.4 Billion

After plans to overhaul ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s Medicaid program left some city hospitals feeling shortchanged, the state Department of Health recalibrated its DSRIP awards to the state’s 25 Performing Provider Systems. The result: $7.4 billion in payments, including $4.1 billion to networks in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ City.

The PPS led by the Health and Hospitals Corp., OneCity Health, came out on top, with a $1.2 billion award. The highest nonpublic PPS valuation went to physician-led Advocate Community Partners, which received $700 million for a network that is collaborating with North Shore-LIJ.
